In this workshop, we work on the most fundamental element of his practice or Butoh in general – the body. When he refers to ‘the body’ that doesn’t mean only the physical one. It naturally contains psychological, mental, energetical and also spiritual ones.
Having said that, we do need to train through the physical body.
Iwaoka believes having a good foundation will help people find and explore their own ways of Butoh.
